A reporter for Scientific American stated in an article this week that the NASA planned $100,000 study into UFOs is not interested in solving the mystery behind apparent extraterrestrial spacecraft. Instead, the writer suggests, NASA is merely interested in finding answers behind natural atmospheric phenomena. Also, documentary filmmaker James Fox said recently actual photographic and video evidence of extraterrestrial beings exists in Brazil, and he's trying to obtain it with a large cash offering. Fox said the evidence is in relation to aliens that witnesses say they saw in 1996 Varginha, Brazil. A UFO allegedly crashed there, but military officials covered up the incident by removing the downed alien vessel and taking extraterrestrial beings into custody. The event is a subject of Fox's upcoming documentary film, MOMENT OF CONTACT.
