MUFON Platforms Absurd Explanation for the Roswell UFO Crash

The Mutual UFO Network this week published an article in its journal from long-time UK UFO researcher Philip Mantle that claims the famous 1947 Roswell crash has been solved. The problem with the article is that it comes nowhere close to solving the 77-year-old incident. In fact, Mantle's asserted resolution of the case is totally laughable, which beggars the question as to why MUFON would opt to publish it in the first place.
