Today we’re going to talk about a genre that is extremely near and dear to the hearts of both Pascal and I. While his attachment may be visceral and sentimental, there is a large imprint this music has on my DNA in what I created with Bitter Lake, and my previous band La Fin Absolute Du Monde.  We’re going to be talking about House Music.  It’s origins as a unifying force for cis and gay Black males in deindustrialized Detroit, to a drug music phenomenon in the UK that was almost outlawed.  We constantly ask the question if music has revolutionary potential, did house rave music possess that at one time? Or was it just on the wrong end of the right dominated anti political culture war and war on drugs era.   Our guest Jeremiah McAllister is a veteran in the house music scene having worked with its founding fathers as a keyboard player and producer.  About TIR Thank you, guys, again for taking the time to check this out.
