Gabe Davis is visiting the Steelers later this week. How do we feel about this? Chris brought up some concerning numbers for his overall career. Donny said the Steelers made their bed with this when they traded George Pickens a few weeks ago. Bills sideline reporter Sal Capaccio joined the show. Sal gave us the skinny on Gabe Davis after he spent the best part of his career in Buffalo. Sal brought up the great point that many Bills fans didn’t want him after he came available lately. Did his big-game performances earn him any points? Sal said there are too many drops in his game. Sal said Davis is a ‘tireless worker,’ but there are just too many inconsistencies with his game. Sal told us Davis was used for a lot of downfield passing and not really anything underneath. According to Sal, Davis is a ‘willing blocker’ that would be useful in the run game. Sal noted that it is important to remember Davis got released by the Jags with a failed physical diagnosis, which has several teams worried about his health.
