Heyward back, Marcano banned, Firefighters check in

Cam Heyward is here. He showed up to OTAs earlier today and was working out with the team. The guys talked about his current status and if he is a top 5 player at his position right now. The guys think there is a lot of ‘no offense’ comments to be made about what is happening with him and if he is worthy of another big money deal. He says he wants to play for 3 more years. Former Pirates infielder Tucupita Marcano has been banned for life after being caught gambling on baseball, which were Pirates games last season while injured. Poni thinks the punishment is too harsh and Marcano shouldn’t face a lifetime ban because he was on the IL when the games took place. Poni thinks this is another moment people will sadly tie to the Pirates. We heard from a couple of local firefighters ahead of the Fan Five Alarm Marathon.
