Due to an ongoing shortage of ADHD medications, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved several generic versions of the drug Vyvanse for the treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. New studies show that the number of people being diagnosed with ADHD is climbing steadily, especially in women.
