A US Navy Officer Is Out Of A Japan Jail, But He's Still Not Free

The Fox News Rundown - Podcast készítő FOX News Radio

He's no longer in prison in Japan, but Navy Lieutenant Ridge Alkonis is still not free. Now Ridge Alkonis is behind bars in Los Angeles, serving time for a 2021 crash that left two Japanese citizens dead. Alkonis, who was stationed in Japan, says he suffered from acute altitude sickness causing him to lose control of his car before the deadly crash. Now transferred back to America, his frustrated family is asking the Biden administration to commute his sentence and let him return home. Brittany Alkonis, Ridge's wife, joins The Rundown to share their family's story and why she believes her husband should never have been convicted of a crime. She also discusses her efforts to free Ridge and let their children live with their father once again.   Colorado's Supreme Court has ruled that former President Donald Trump will not be featured on their state's primary ballot, citing section three of the constitution's fourteenth amendment and the district court's ruling that the former president had engaged in insurrection on January 6th. Trump's team has said they "imminently" plan to challenge this decision by taking it to the Supreme Court, where they must decide if Colorado's ruling is just. On the Rundown, FOX News Sunday Host Shannon Bream explains why she believes the Supreme Court will likely refuse to pass Colorado's ruling and shares her thoughts on other states planning to do the same thing. She also discusses over 12,000 migrants crossing the southern border in a single day last week and whether she believes President Biden will take serious action to address the Border crisis.   Plus, commentary by author and Vice President of Communications for Focus on The Family, Paul Batura.
