The site of Bristol's worst mining disaster.It was a normal Friday afternoon and those above ground had no idea what was happening in one of the lower works of the mine. 10 boys and men perished, some the next day, but the effect this would have on the local community would devastating.Questions were asked, the most pertinent being 'could this have been avoided if you'd listened to us?'
