After being adopted, Robert was in leg splints until middle school, and struggled getting into some trouble through high school years. Fast forwarding, after a career as a Special Operations Pararescueman, he is now a Leadership coach, Keynote speaker, and Ultra Endurance Coach and Athlete. Here are just a few of his many accomplishments: 12x Ironman Triathlon Finisher Completed the 300 of Sparta, which is an 8 day, 238 mile run-climb in greece Completed the World Marathon Challenge (7 Marathons in 7 Days on 7 Continents) This year, he will be speaking/coaching in South Africa, doing the North Pole Marathon in April, and rowing across the Atlantic Ocean in December Triathlete Magazine’s “Most Interesting Ironman in the World.” In today’s episode, we discussed: What it means to “Go Dark” and focus incredibly hard on what you are doing Living an “unbalanced life” Mental vs. Physical Training Taking people to their limits How your decisions determine your destiny Much More!
