They were people of the mountains - they always had a tactical advantage in warfare. 3. Their names literally mean “the boasters”. 4. They were also descendants of the Rephaim (giants) 5. Amorites represent those giants in our lives that boast big words against us. II. Some Good News about the Amorites / Word Giants 1. Every time that the children of God faced the Amorites, the Amorites went down quickly 2. The bigger the word giant, the harder it falls 3.
