'And the Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites. ' Exodus 3:7-8 Anything that is of great value cannot be obtained without a great cost God has great things in store for us - a promise land for us We are children of Abraham - sons and daughters of God There is a price to pay to inherit the promise land You will not have a Holy life if you do not fight a few battles against your flesh You have to be willing to pull out a few swords to take what God has promised for you Types of Enemy: The Canaanites - the enemy of mammon God calls us to the promised land but there will be a struggle on the way there We will all have to fight the “ite” of mammon We DO NOT have to serve the God of mammon Mammon always results in wicked acts Want to receive text updates from our church?
