Prince Harry, phone hacking and the executives who knew

Sky News Daily - Podcast készítő Sky News

Prince Harry has claimed victory in a landmark court case against one of Britain’s biggest news publishers – the Mirror Group – with a High Court judge finding the company’s practice of phone hacking was “extensive” as well as its use of private investigators to illegally gather information to write stories for its newspapers.Justice Fancourt ruled that 15 out of a selection of 33 stories written about Harry by the paper were obtained through illegal breaches of privacy, and that senior executives at the company “turned a blind eye.” On the Sky News Daily, Sam Washington talks to Sky’s royal correspondent Laura Bundock and media management lawyer Jonathan Coad about what this ruling means for the Prince – as well as the media industry.
