In this episode we chat with Captain Paul Cullen and Dr Joan Cahill from the University of Dublin. Paul and Joan have been researching psych health and safety in the aviation industry, and they share their methods and findings with us. They discuss the main sources of work-related stress for aviation workers, pre-COVID, and describe how work-related stress can affect flight safety. They then discuss the impact of the pandemic on aviation workers, identifying that some demographics of workers have been affected more significantly than others.
