Nick is joined by Rishi Persad to discuss the extraordinary news that emerged from Ireland yesterday that Viking Hoard, trained by Charles Byrnes, had been nobbled by an unidentified third party with sedative ACP before running at Tramore in 2018, a race in which he was heavily laid to lose on Betfair by a mystery punter based abroad. Nick and Rishi discuss the case, its implications for Irish racing and the suspension of Byrnes for negligence, which he is appealing.
