Turkey & Pakistan Boost Energy & Mining Partnership

Turkey and Pakistan are strengthening their energy partnership with significant agreements. TPAO, Turkeys state oil company, has signed deals with Pakistani firms for offshore and land-based fields. These arrangements, finalized during Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktars visit, will expand cooperation and involve Turkey operating one offshore block. Survey ships and drilling equipment are expected in Pakistan by 2026. Additionally, Turkish mining companies will increase activities in Pakistan, targeting a five billion dollar trade target.
