The Dallas Stars and their Penalty Kill COLLAPSES Late in 4-3 Loss to the Florida Panthers

The Dallas Stars were playing one of their best games of the entire season until the final 10 minutes of last nights game against the Florida Panthers. The Stars surrender three 3rd period goals including to power play goals as the Panthers stun the Stars in Dallas last night by a final score of 4-3. Joey begins today's episode of Locked On Stars discussing what he believed went wrong and led to the collapse. This was a great test against the best team in the NHL, and the Stars failed it and have struggled to close out games this season even when they win. Moving forward, games like last night will make or break the Stars season. The Panthers went 3-for-4 on the power play Tuesday night and made the Stars pay for taking penalties. Joey is frustrated that Esa Lindell and Jani Hakanpaa are still being used as a pair on the penalty kill. Chris Tanev was brought in to solve this issue and for some reason is not being used in these situations, besides when he was in the box for his own minor penalty late. On the brighter side, the NHL announced Tuesday that the Dallas Stars will be participating in the 2024 NHL Global Series next season!
