Why aren't English politicians wearing face coverings?

Wearing face coverings in public have become a way of life for many people especially after they were made compulsory in crowded spaces like public transport. Yet senior politicians like Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak are very rarely pictured wearing them, I want to know why that is and does that make you less likely to wear one?
