Here's what the HomeSchool ThinkTank online meetups are all about... We feature guest experts around homeschooling, relationships, education, and more. This is the perfect place to share ideas, get to know one another, and support one another. We offer mini-workshops around homeschooling, education, and personal growth. We listen, answer your questions about HomeSchool ThinkTank, & get your feedback. Who Are The Online Homeschool Meetups For? Who can attend the online homeschool meetups? The meetups are for parents who are currently homeschooling or are considering homeschooling their kids in the future.     When an online meetup is for the kids, we'll be sure to let you know ahead of time.  Parental supervision is always appropriate. Do you want more meetups for the kids?  Let us know. Note: During the coronavirus pandemic, many parents are helping their children do public or private school at home.  Please note that there is a difference between homeschooling and doing public or private school at home.  If you are interested in homeschooling your children when other kids return to school, this is a great time to ask questions.  If you are doing public or private school at home and need support, you are welcome to join us. We simply want you to understand that doing school at home is not the same as actual homeschooling.   When Are The Online Homeschool Meetups? When is the next online homeschool meetup? We offer a free online HomeSchool ThinkTank meetup approximately every 2-4 weeks.  When you join our community, you'll have the opportunity to see our Event Calendar and join the next meetup.  We usually have the next meetup on the homepage of our website: https://www.homeschoolthinktank.com/ Where Do I Find The Link For The Online Meetup? Where are the online meetups? We share the links and details for our online homeschool meetups inside The HomeSchool ThinkTank Community.  Be sure to check the EVENTS section in our community. When you join The HomeSchool ThinkTank Community, you'll be able to see our Event Calendar.  The link for the meetup is in the Events Section. We usually send a reminder email for the online homeschool meetups. What Are The Online Homeschool Meetups Like? What should I expect at the online homeschool meetups? You'll want to download the app for our online homeschool meetups.  Check inside The HomeSchool ThinkTank Community for details. If you choose to have your video & mic on, then we can see & hear you, too. We prefer that you turn your video on and at least say hello when you join our meetup.  No worries, no need to get fixed up before the call.  We understand that you are likely at home and relaxed. While it's not required, it's best if you wear headphones.  If you aren't wearing headphones and there is noise around you, we'll need to mute your microphone when you aren't speaking.  It can get pretty noisy if there are lots of people on a call.  It's nice if you mute & unmute your microphone as needed - this is easy to do and we'll show you how.  What Does It Cost To Join Our Online Homeschool Meetup? We offer a FREE online meetup approximately every 2-4 weeks for members of The HomeSchool ThinkTank Community.  It is FREE to get started inside The HomeSchool ThinkTank Community.
