Mark Lovendale was a rather fascinating guest to have on the show. He is the author of Quality Longevity. I found out about his work through my mom who has a mutual friend of Marks and it was a blessing to have him on the show. He talked about lots of interesting topics such as food allergies, white blood cells, muscle testing and how to determine if the food you're eating is killing your white blood cells. White blood cells among other things are responsible for killing pathogens, viruses, fungus, mold, toxins, chemicals, poisons, parasites, worms and infections. If you have no white blood cells you have no immune system. Isn't that an amazing concept? White blood cells are created in the bone marrow and to a lesser degree in the gut. It wasn't until the 1950's that we first learned that the food we eat can actually kill white blood cells in the body. The more white blood cells we kill the less we have the ability to fight off illness and disease. It's amazing to think that the food we eat actually can kill the very thing that is there to support our lives and keep us alive. So the trick is to find out which foods we're eating that are destroying our white blood cells. For each person it's different. Typically the foods that people are "allergic" to are also the same ones that destroy white blood cells. The common food intolerances are * Corn * Wheat * Dairy * Soy * Sugar And then there are many other foods that you could be sensitive to that can cause you major problems. It's possible to have a delayed food reaction as well can happen a few days after consuming a particular food. For example it's possible to eat some pasta or bread containing wheat and feel fine right after eating it. Then 3 or 4 days later as that food moves through your digestive system can cause bloating, raised pulse, decreased circulation and damage the intestinal villi of your gut. As a result of eating this pasta you could have destroyed thousands of white blood cells in the process and not ever be able to pin down what food is causing the problem. Can you imagine how frustrating this could be for people? Perhaps you are having this exact situation with your gut and your digestion. You could be consuming foods that are very harmful to you but you don't even know it. Also what makes it more difficult to figure out is the fact that many of us might consume 30 or 40 different ingredients in one meal alone. You could be allergic to MSG, aspartame, food coloring or artificial flavors. There's lots to look at here and I'd highly recommend checking out The Prime Blood test that Mark Lovendale has developed and you might be able to finally get some answers to your food sensitivities. We hope you enjoyed our interview with Mark as much as we did and if you did would you consider clicking "like" and "share" on this page to let your friends and family know about the work he is doing? Kate and I would greatly appreciate that! :) Show Notes For This Episode: * FAR Infrared Suana * Vitamix (get free shipping!) * Dr. Theron Randolph - see books * T. Colin Campbell -
