Today’s guest is Deb Farnworth-Wood from Issada Deb is an MBA graduate, a Certified Franchise Executive, and a serial entrepreneur. She holds over 30 years of experience in the management of large, complex, and multi-disciplinary healthcare organisations, including pharmacy, GP Services, surgical facilities, dietetics, podiatry, nurse practitioners, counselling and secondary care services. She also has significant experience in the multi-outlet retail sector having held a variety of store and head office roles in Debenhams as well as big shed DIY and home furnishings retailers. Deb’s career has been punctuated by ‘firsts’. She was the first non-doctor to become a partner in a UK medical practice, and her group were the first non-pharmacist to own a UK pharmacy. She also opened England’s first drive-thru pharmacy. It’s a testament to her incredible vision and passion for the aesthetics industry that she continues to push the boundaries of business to this day. She purchased Issada in 2020 and has managed to continue to grow the business despite being in the midst of a global pandemic.
