The Path of MeditationShabd Yoga is a practical way of life for realizing our true self as soul and awakening the Universal Consciousness within us, through meditation. The essential component of Shabd Yoga is the competent, living Master-Saint - Sant Khem Singh - who connects and guides the aspirant in meditation to his or her Higher Self, at the level of soul, in the form of inner Light and inner Sound. The living, competent Master is concerned at all times for the spiritual well-being of humanity. Baba Sawan Singh, Sant Kirpal Singh, Sant Thakar Singh worked in the past. Today it is Sant Khem Singh. In these podcast episodes (satsangs, or spiritual discourses) he speaks about the importance of being born as a human being, as the Ancient Greeks implored: Man, know thyself!. He explains how humanity needs to access their own soul, the power source that we are, and the soul's connection to God. When our soul gains connection to the "Naam" or the Word, we can take the first steps on the path of self-knowledge. A connection is made, and firsthand experience is given of the inner Light and the inner Sound.The Truth is a power, which is known when it is awakened.
