There is a Freedom in Being in Transit

Amir is a third culture kid and a perennial translator between people, whether at work or in social situations. His childhood in Iran was filled with multi-generational community life before he was transplanted into British life as a teenager. Later in his twenties, he kept gravitating towards various experiments in community living, from artist warehouses to fringe social movements in London. Since becoming a nomad in 2022, he noticed how at home he feels on the road and how he forms long-lasting connections at colivings or simply by living somewhere for a few weeks. He doesn't know how long he'll keep doing this, but the skill of not just forming but maintaining quality relationships across geography and time is something he'll be ever grateful for.
