The candle gazing exercise is also an excellent diagnostic tool. Learn more: https://www.2bsilent.com/join Timestamped Notes 0:00 - How to perform the candle gazing exercise. 1:30 - You can do this with any flame, a campfire works well. 3:00 - You want to be in a completely dark room, the candle being the only source of illumination. 3:30 - The proper posture for meditation. 5:30 - Gaze at the candle and spread the focus of your attention softly into your peripheral vision. Gazing entails that nothing is more important than anything else in your vision. 8:30 - The importance of being relaxed: no force, no trying, no effort in focusing even in the periphery of your vision. 9:30 - State what you are there to do: "I am here now, to use the aura of the candle flame (which reflects my own aura) to see my own energy field." Say to yourself: "as I do this exercise and perform this gazing it is going to put me into a deeper state of relaxation. The more I relax, the more focus I have." 11:45 - You will begin to see that the candle has an aura. Ultimately you will be able to see a sphere 6 inches in diameter with the colors of the rainbow in order from inside to out. 12:30 - When this happens confirm the experience and state out loud: "what I am seeing now is a reflection of my own aura". 13:00 - When you begin to see the aura you'll notice peculiarities that are unique to you. The color arrangement is a reflection of the dominance or weakness of different frequencies in your field that correspond to those colors. 13:45 - Speak aloud the name of one of the colors. When you do that band of color will grow and get larger or brighter. 14:45 - This is an experience of seeing how the words you speak affect your environment. 16:30 - You are what you think about most of the time. 18:30 - Reciprocity and the power of anonymity: "you get the way you give." 22:00 - Like only speaks to like.
