Clean Friday Great Compline

The Order of Great Compline on a Friday evening of the Great Fast. While in the Greek recension Small Compline with a section of the Akathist hymn is sung, the Slavic recension holds to the more ancient tradition of continuing Great Compline on Friday nights. Normally the Canon for the Departed in the Tone of the Week is taken after the Small Doxology.
