If it is lawful, therefore, indeed meritorious, always to remember that we owe our being to God, and that He created us out if nothing and preserves us, also all the other benefits of His death and Passion, which He suffered for each one of us living to-day long before, why should it be wrong for me to know and realize and frequently consider that, though I used to speak of vanities, the Lord has now granted me the wish to speak only of Him?”(p. 72- 73).
