Pesachim 40a - Knowing vs. Caring

Caring about someone or something and intentionally protecting them from harm, adds a quality to one's relationship with them far beyond merely knowing that they are safe. This is the idea behind shemura matza, the matza we use at the Seder on Pesach night as opposed to regular matza.
