Pesachim 32b Gift or Payment?

Based on the first Tosfot on 32b, we explore the difference between Netinna (giving) as Tashlumin (payment) and Netinna as gifting. Tashlum means making whole which entails a precise quantum whereas in gifting, the meaning is more significant than the quantum.
