HT0293 - Lens Sharpness and Noise Reduction

Here's a thought ... Noise reduction invariably sacrifices detail. Once I thought about it, I realized that it made sense that my new sharper lens would allow me to shoot at a higher ISO because it simply has more detail to be sacrificed to noise reduction. Wow!
