Steve Peskind began practicing meditation in 1973. After teaching English in Japan, he pursued his two main interests - Buddhism and the work of Kubler Ross. He co-founded the "Coming Home Hospice", the Gay outreach at Shanti Project, and the Bay Area based "Buddhist AIDS Project."
