Michelle Buteau- Born in New Jersey to Caribbean parents, actress/comedian Michelle Buteau brings her unique perspective and big personality to stage and screen. Michelle has had stand-up specials on Netflix and Comedy Central, as well as an album called "Shut Up!", which was released on Comedy Central Records. She was also a featured comedian on the "2 Dope Queens" special for HBO. Charla Lauriston is a Los Angeles based stand-up comedian, television writer, producer, and podcast host who’s written for The Last OG, Ghosted, People of Earth, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and the upcoming Hoops on Netflix. As a standup, she’s appeared on ‘The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail’ on Comedy Central, has performed with Jonathan Van Ness and Team Coco. Hailing from New York by way of Boston by way of Haiti, Charla’s sharp observations on everything from family to race to pop culture and the absurd minutia of everyday life are delivered with a matter-of-fact punch to the gut. Her 2014 web series, Clench & Release, garnered critical acclaim that described her as “self-assured and gleefully sarcastic” (WNYC) and “one of the most exciting and original voices in comedy” (Splitsider). After switching careers from postal work to comedy, Dominique quickly gained notoriety for telling it like it is, raw and uncut. In the pre-internet world, Dominique’s fan-base grew quickly and word of her talent drew attention from HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam.” After a strong performance on Def Jam, Dominique moved to New York City to perform amongst the best of the best. Before long, Dominique became a fixture of New York’s comedy scene, performing alongside comics like Chris Rock and Dave Chapelle. During a chance encounter at a small comedy club, Dominique impressed “30 Rock” and “SNL” star Tracy Morgan, who immediately made Dominique the opening act for his “Caroline’s on Broadway” show. Since then, Dominique has wowed audiences all over the world, and is now based in Los Angeles, California. In addition to stand-up and television, Dominique has drawn laughs from radio audiences across America during a regular segment on the “Tom Joyner Morning Show.” From this platform, Dominique became known as the “people’s champ,” a comedian who speaks for the common man and woman of America.
