Part 1 - Lessons on Forgiveness from an Arkansas Cow Pasture

How do you respond when you've been wounded? Are you quick to forgive, or do you struggle letting things go. As I learned in my own life this past week, pride often gets in the way of forgiveness. Because pride feels the need to stand its ground. It feels the need to defend itself. It feels the need to make the other party suffer as we have suffered. And yet we are told, "If pride and selfishness were put aside, five minutes would solve most difficulties." All I can say is, "Lord forgive us for our pride and for being so slow to forgive." This week God taught me an important lesson about forgiveness during my time in a nearby cow pasture, and I believe some of the lessons He taught me, He's also wanting to teach each one of us.
