Our Greatest Treasure

In Psalms 119:103-104 we read, “How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way.” Do you resonate with these words? How about with the words of Jeremiah? “Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O LORD God of hosts.” What a rich bountiful treasure we’ve been given in the Word of God! However I’m afraid it’s a Treasure that we’ve all too often taken for granted. Let’s pray that God will truly help us once again to treat His Word as the Treasure He is!
